Miami Northwestern High School in Florida is set to welcome a highly-touted transfer quarterback who's been making waves in the recruiting scene. According to an announcement on Monday by @305sports on Instagram, freshman quarterback Neimann Lawrence, Class of 2028, is transferring from Ransom Everglades to Miami Northwestern for the 2025 high school football season.
As a freshman in 2024 at Ransom Everglades, Neimann threw for 2,665 passing yards and 31 touchdowns, leading the team to a 6-4 record. As a result, he's being getting recruited by several top college football programs. Lawrence has 10 offers from schools like Arkansas, Miami, Florida State and Nebraska, among others. The freshman quarterback is now headed to a new school, Miami Northwestern, where he will be coached by former NFL quarterback Teddy Bridgewater.

In Teddy Bridgewater's first season as the head football coach of Miami Northwestern, he led the team to a 12-2 record and an FHSAA State Championship victory. According to MaxPreps, they are ranked as the 7th-best team in Florida and the 46th-best high school football team in the country. The Northwestern Bulls triumphed over Raines with a 41-0 victory in the State Championship on Dec. 14, 2024. The win was especially meaningful for Bridgewater, a Miami native and former Miami Northwestern football player.
Throughout the season, the Miami Northwestern Bulls have dominated, scoring over 40 points in ten games. Their largest victory came in week 10, with a 69-0 win over Barron Collier. Offensively, they have been highly productive, averaging 154.6 rushing yards and 196.1 receiving yards per game.

Before becomign the head football coach at Miami Northwestern, Teddy Bridgewater played college football at Louisville from 2011 to 2013. At Louisville, he threw for 9,817 passing yards and 72 touchdowns against 24 interceptions, while also carrying the ball 226 times for 164 rushing yards and 6 touchdowns over the course of his college football career.
He was drafted by the Minnesota Vikings with the 32nd overall pick in the 2014 NFL Draft.
