Cayden Boozer and his brother Cameron Boozer recently took to Instagram to make their commitment to the Duke Blue Devils official. Two of the most talented recruits in the Class of 2025 will follow in their father's footsteps for their collegiate career.

Ranked as the No. 20 recruit by On3, Cayden Boozer was regarded as a five-star recruit, according to ESPN. Being a point guard, passing is one the best skills you can have, and Boozer possesses it.

ESPN's National Director of Recruiting Paul Biancardi also agrees with this. He uploaded a story on Instagram, claiming that the former Columbus High School player would be a first-round pick in the NBA and called him the best passer in high school basketball:

"A trustworthy point guard who is strong, dependable, and plays with physicality. He is the best passer in high school basketball and is projected to be a first-round pick."

This can also be proven by his average assists stats. In the 2021-22 season when Boozer was a Freshman, he averaged 5.1 assists in 30 games. However, in his junior year during the 2023-24 season, Boozer averaged 7.6 assists per contest in 29 games for Columbus High School.

The 6-foot-5 guard also led in assists at the Nike EYBL (6.5) and the Nike Peach Jam, averaging 6.9 assists, which included 11 assists to lead his team to the finals.

In his three seasons at the Miami, Florida high school, Boozer played 87 games, scoring 14.6 points, 5.6 assists, 4.2 rebounds, 1.9 steals, and 0.3 blocks per contest.

Furthermore, for Team USA, Boozer secured two gold medals. In the U17 World Cup, Boozer scored 12 points and dished out nine assists against the Philippines. What makes this stat even more impressive is that Boozer averaged around 18 minutes and still was the assist leader again for Team USA, averaging 6.4 assists.

What does 247Sports Director of Scouting Adam Finkelstein say about Cayden Boozer?

Just like Biancardi, Adam Finkelstein also commended Boozer's passing ability. In fact, he also gave out an impressive stat that makes the Miami, Florida native's passing game seem even better:

"Boozer is a lead guard with terrific size and an extremely advanced ability to read and think the game. He sees the floor, feeds the post, dictates his own pace, and almost never gets sped-up. He’s as reliable as it gets in high school basketball with the ball in his hands, continuously posting better than 3:1 assist-to-turnover ratios."

How well do you think Cayden Boozer will perform for the Duke Blue Devils?
