It's a clash of titans on Friday night as five-star Boozer brothers, Cayden and Cameron Boozer, lead No. 1-ranked Columbus High School against No. 3-ranked Montverde Academy in a non-conference game. Montverde Academy, coming off a recent loss, will rely on four-star talents CJ Ingram, Hudson Greer, and Dante Allen to bounce back.
The game is scheduled to kick off at 6 p.m. ET on Jan. 24 at Christopher Columbus High School and will be available for live streaming on the NFHS Network. It will also be broadcast live on Fubo.tv.
In their last meeting at the City of Palms Classic championship in December, the Explorers edged past Montverde with a narrow 59-57 win. The Boozer brothers combined for 22 points, while Jaxo Richardson's 18-point effort played a key role in the victory. For the Eagles, Hudson Greer's 18 points and Dante Allen's 12-point contribution fell just short. They will be looking to turn the tables in this highly anticipated rematch.
Heading into this game, Columbus has a 17-3 record and has won its last four games. Montverde, on the other hand, has a 13-3 record and is coming off a narrow 44-41 loss against AZ Compass Prep.
Alongside highly rated Cameron and Cayden Boozer, the Explorers will also be banking on five-star power forward Caleb Gaskins and four-star junior Jaxon Richardson to secure a much-desired win in this game. For the Eagles, four-star power forward Trent Sisley and 6-foot-5 junior Kayden Allen will also prove crucial.
