Social media hoops personality Jordan Lewis shared his first encounter with Michael Jordan while speaking to 2028 high school prospect Nelson Neumann. In the clip uploaded by Overtime on Monday, Lewis provided a hilarious incident of meeting the six-time NBA champion during a golf game at Lake Tahoe in Sierra Nevada Mountain's Lake Valley.
The content creator got in the perfect spot to request MJ for a picture and an autograph on his golf ball but was ignored by the five-time MVP. Jordan Lewis said that the instance caused him to lose respect for MJ, who he has admired all his life.
"Michael Jordan, I kinda got ego'ed, bruh; it was crazy," Lewis said. "So, pretty much, I was at a golf tournament in Lake Tahoe, I asked him for a picture. There was nobody other there, and I beat everybody to the spot. I was on my P's and Q's, bruh, and I asked for an autograph, had a ball for him and everything.
"He looks at it and just walks away, and there was nobody there and I was like, 'Yo, please.' He didn't say a word, and after that now I was like, 'MJ, you're no longer my GOAT.'"
With that, the 23-year-old playfully jabbed at Michael Jordan by claiming that it's the reason LeBron James is better than the Chicago Bulls legend.
"I didn't look at him the same after that," Lewis said. "I was like, 'This big bald dude is not f****** with me.' Yeah, I don't like that bald guy anymore. That's why Lebron is better than him."
