TCU Horned Frogs guard Hailey Van Lith has been putting up excellent numbers on the basketball court. The 23-year-old transferred from LSU this season and is averaging 17 points, 8.5 rebounds and 6.5 assists per game while shooting 39.3% from the field.

In a video posted by SLAM Magazine on YouTube five years ago, she talked about her influence on people when she was just 17 years old and how women's basketball was on the rise.

"It is amazing because I do have a lot of people that look up to me and I'll get random messages saying that I inspire them and I changed their life and I am the reason they play basketball and I think that's crazy because I have always thought of other people like that," said Van Lith (9:17 - 9:43).
"Like I'm someone's role model now when I used to always idolize other players and it's crazy because I'm only 17 and I'm just this teenager and I mess up all the time. Yeah, it's fun, but it's scary at the same time." (9:43 - 9:58).

Van Lith also had an exceptional career for the USA Basketball Team. She helped the team to five gold medals in 3x3 and 5-on-5 matches including the 2023 FIBA 3x3 Women's World Cup, 2021 FIBA U19 Women’s World Cup, 2019 FIBA 3x3 U18 World Cup, 2018 Youth Olympic Games 3x3 and 2018 FIBA U17 Women’s World Cup.

What is Hailey Van Lith's NIL value?

While some people questioned Van Lith's move from LSU to TCU, the 5-foot-9 guard continued to perform well on the court. Some of her endorsements include Invesco QQQ, Adidas, 94 Feet of Game App, Billionaire Girls Club, Dick’s Sporting Goods, Shaquille O’Neal Foundation and Sierato.

She currently ranks fifth in women's basketball with a NIL valuation of $779k. In April, she became the first college basketball player to sign a deal with the popular sparkling water company LaCroix, as well as the Flying T Club in July.

With a college basketball career total of 1,970 points, 541 rebounds, 388 assists and 183 steals while shooting 41.3% from the field, the star guard will be ready for the 2025 WNBA Draft. Which WNBA team will she play for?
