Cameron Boozer vs Cooper Flagg
Although Flagg may be playing college basketball at Duke right now ahead of a potential NBA draft, he did cross paths with Boozer in high school. They met twice in the 2023 Peach Jam, with Boozer dropping 22 points and 12 rebounds against Flagg’s 21 points, seven assists, and 10 rebounds.
Flagg’s team would end up winning the game 73-65. In their second clash a few days later, Boozer’s team went home with the win, but it was Flagg who stole the show.
The 6-foot-9 guard dropped 18 points, five assists, and 12 rebounds, while Boozer could only manage five points.
Nonetheless, their stats in the 2022-2023 season mirrored each other. Flagg averaged 18.2 points, 8.6 rebounds, 3.7 assists, 3.4 blocked shots, and 1.4 steals per game across 57 games.
Meanwhile, Boozer averaged 21.1 points, 11.3 rebounds, 4.2 assists, 1.3 steals, and 2.0 blocks per game across 29 games.
