Carmelo Anthony seen hanging with ACES founder while watching Kiyan Anthony play
While watching the games on Saturday, Carmelo Anthony was not just cheering for his son and Long Island Lutheran but was also seen hanging out with ACES founder Brian Kortovich. ACES is the organization behind the ACES Hustle & Heart Classic.
The basketball event, which featured two boys' teams and two girls' teams in two separate showcase games, aimed to provide a platform for young players to "showcase their talents on a national level." The event took place at the Elmcor Gym in Queens, with the other game being the Girls National Showcase, pitting the New Jersey Crusaders against DC Crimson.
Several important personalities in the basketball world were also present, including NBA executives. Kortovich called the event "a collision of basketball, sport & culture."
