Running back Jordon Davison from Mater Dei High School in Santa Ana, California, has already decided his top four: Alabama, Michigan, Ohio State and Oregon. He has been taking official visits four weeks in a row, but no team is on his priority list.

“Every school on my list is still competing," Davison said (via On3). "I don’t have any type of order and all four schools are the same for me heading into this last visit. I am still looking for a school to separate itself from the others and that is what I work on figuring out after this visit.

Alabama, Michigan and Oregon have already hosted Davison for official visits, and he will visit Ohio State this weekend.

“I am getting a little closer to my decision.I have to take my last official visit this weekend, then I will try to make my decision. These official visits have been important to me, and I have one more, so I just want to take it all in one last time and see how I feel."

Though Davison doesn’t have any top teams on his list yet, these visits have helped him make comparisons.

“It has really helped me taking these visits back-to-back because I can compare each school, see how I feel and just get all of the details. That has been the biggest difference from an unofficial visit. I get all of the details and just find out more about the school on these visits.”

247 Sports lists Davison as the No. 16 prospect in California and the No. 13 running back and No. 199 prospect in the 2025 class. On3 ranked him as the No. 240 prospect in the country, the No. 18 running back in the 2025 cycle and the No. 22 player in California. He is an all-round back who excels at catching and blocking. He rushed for 2,364 yards and 31 touchdowns in his high school career.

When will Jordon Davison announce his commitment?

While other 2025 class' prospects are busy announcing their pledges, Jordon Davison seems not to be in a rush.

“My decision is still something I am working on," Davison told On3. " I am working to commit before my senior season, but I am not sure when I will be ready yet. After the visit to Ohio State visit, I will talk with my family, go over everything and see how I feel.”

Ohio State is leading the race for Davison’s commitment, with On3's Recruiting Prediction Machine estimating an 81.3% likelihood of him choosing the Buckeyes. 247 Sports also gave a Crystal Ball Prediction that Ohio State will secure his commitment.

“I have been to Ohio State five or six times, so I feel I have seen everything," Davison told On3. " It is just about getting back up there one more time, comparing it to everywhere else I have been and seeing how I feel. For me, it is Ohio State. It is a top team that plays at the highest level every year."
" At Ohio State, you will get the best every day, they will push you to get better and I have a great relationship with coach Carlos Locklyn. We have a relationship beyond football, and I know I have his support regardless of what I do.”

Several factors will influence Jordon Davison's final decision, including player development, program relationships, playing time, NIL opportunities and overall team culture. Let's see if the Buckeyes can seal the deal to earn his pledge.
