While many prospects prefer to stay low-key, Texas Longhorns target Felix Ojo is an exception. The four-star offensive tackle from Lake Ridge High School in Texas has continuously raved about his athleticism on social media, and he did that once again on Sunday with a bold post on X.
"I will say this time and time again I am THE best tackle in my class and you can compare the film 🤷🏾♂️," Ojo posted.
Ojo's caliber supports his claim. At 6-foot-6 and 285 pounds, he exhibits his rare athleticism to dominate in the trenches while maintaining the agility to excel in open-field blocking.
Ojo is ranked as the No. 29 prospect in the nation, the No. 6 offensive tackle in the 2026 class and the No. 4 recruit in Texas by 247Sports. He'll prove his skills in the 2025 Navy All-American Bowl on Jan. 11 at the Alamodome in San Antonio, Texas.
Ojo's top six schools are Oklahoma, Michigan, Ohio State, USC, Texas and SMU. According to the On3, the in-state Longhorns have a 19.6% chance of securing his commitment. He is still early in his recruitment, but Steve Sarkisian and his staff will work hard for his pledge.
Texas Longhorns 2026 class recruiting update
The Texas Longhorns capped off the 2025 recruiting cycle with the nation's No. 1 class by securing four five-star prospects. The school is following the trend for the 2026 class, with its first five-star commitment in quarterback Dia Bell, who is ranked the No. 2 quarterback and the No. 5 recruit in the nation by ESPN.
The Longhorns also secured four-star wide receiver Chris Stewart to the class and are trending for several top-tier offensive players, like running back Javian Osborne, wide receiver Jalen Lott, offensive tackle John Turntine and interior offensive lineman Nicolas Robertson.
On defense, the Texas Longhorns are favored to secure the commitments of defensive lineman Tiki Hola, linebacker DaQuives Beck, cornerback Jamarion Vincent and safety Isaiah Williams, among others.
