Three-star safety Brandon Logan from Snider High School in Indiana might just be the hidden gem of Notre Dame’s 2025 recruiting class. Despite being overshadowed by higher-profile recruits, Logan’s athleticism made him a standout among the Irish' 25 committed players for 2025.

An anonymous insider from Notre Dame’s front office praised Logan's potential (via 247Sports):

"He is the one that nobody is really talking about. But if he ends up being a freshman All-American, we won't be shocked. His senior year was incredible. His camp performance here was arguably the best we've seen in years."

As a three-sport athlete, Logan excels in football, basketball and baseball. His baseball background enhances his ability to anticipate angles and track the ball, which are critical skills for a safety tasked with patrolling the deep field. At the Irish Invasion camp, he ran a 4.44-second 40-yard dash, while also recording a 4.16-second 20-yard shuttle.

Logan was named to the Indiana Football Coaches Association’s top 50 all-state team and earned first-team all-conference honors in the Summit Athletic Conference. Besides that, his character and leadership have left a lasting impression on those around him.

Snider coach Kurt Tippmann praised Brandon Logan for his selflessness and team-first mentality (via Irish Sports Daily):

“He's not consumed about notoriety, he doesn't care about the accolades. What he cares about is competing and helping his team be successful, whether it be football or baseball. He's just a great teammate. He's a great kid."

Notre Dame fans may not be talking much about Logan now, but that could change quickly.

Brandon Logan raves about Notre Dame coaching staff

Brandon Logan was initially offered by Marcus Freeman's Notre Dame in June as a baseball player with an opportunity as a preferred walk-on, but the program upgraded its offer to a full football scholarship next month. He committed to the Irish on August 10 and officially signed on the National Signing Day on Dec. 4.

Freeman and defensive backs coach Mike Mickens played crucial roles in Logan’s decision. Speaking to On3 after his June visit, he praised both of the coaches:

“They’re cool. Coach Mickens had a really good presentation for us, and I met with Coach Freeman as well. He was really nice, and I liked him.”

Brandon Logan is the No. 63 safety in the 2025 class, the No. 11 recruit in Indiana and the No. 697 prospect in the nation, as per the On3 Industry Rankings.
