Carmelo Anthony's son, Kiyan Anthony, is a four-star recruit and ranks 36th in the 2025 ESPN Top 100 Recruiting Database. The 17-year-old enters the final year of high school and now has some choices to make.
Anthony has reportedly received a total of 21 offers from various programs, and by July, he shortlisted six of them. The shortlist included offers from Auburn, Florida State, Ohio State, Rutgers, Syracuse and USC. He talked about the updated list on the "Sloane Knows Podcast":
"Yeah, I have two visits scheduled next month in September and then one in October. So I got USC and Rutgers next month, and I’m trying to go to Ohio State as my last visit.”
While he still has one more year of school left, college hoops fans were quick to react to the 6'5" shooting guard's statements. Some fans wished for specific programs to pick him while others questioned his abilities.
"If that the offers he must be terrible, Is son of his mistress," commented a fan disappointed by the offers he received.
"Why we even on this list we got no shot at this kid," commented another fan.

Which program has the highest chance of landing Kiyan Anthony?
According to On3.com, the 6'5" guard has a 96 rating and ranks at number six in the shooting guard position. His scouting report states that his strengths are his solid shooting and being able to shoot off the bounce and catch. While defending, Anthony is strong off the ball. However, what he needs to work on are the handles and ability to get to his spot offensively.
Per On3, it is 80.3% likely that Anthony will choose Syracuse, a program that is 199 miles away from home. This is followed by a 6.6% possibility of him choosing Rutgers, and a 5.6% chance of playing for Florida State in 2025. The USC Trojans have also shown interest but there is only a 4.7% chance that Anthony will choose them, as the program is 2,454 miles away.
He still has another year, and with the determination he has, he would surely attract more offers. After shortlisting six teams, which team do you think Kiyan Anthony will play for?
