Westchester High School basketball star Tajh Ariza, a five-star recruit and the son of former Los Angeles Laker Trevor Ariza, is busy getting ready for the upcoming high school basketball season. On Monday, the snapped.visuals Instagram page shared photos of him getting ready for the season and practicing.
The images did not just feature the star small forward in practice, but also hanging out at the beach and outside with his teammates.
As part of his preparations, Ariza had been busy playing for his elite youth basketball league team, Team WhyNot EYBL, throughout the summer. The team finished 18-6 as he averaged 10.7 points per game in The Circuit.
He had also been meeting with various schools who have already sent him scholarship offers, with several scouts seen watching his games.
Tajh Ariza is ranked by 247Sports as the No. 3 player for the Class of 2026. He is also ranked the No. 2 small forward nationally, as well as the No. 3 recruit in the state of California.
Schools that have already sent offers to Trevor Ariza's son Tajh Ariza
Tajh Ariza is still in his junior year of high school, yet he has already been receiving offers left, right and center, with more schools expected to be part of a growing list of possible destinations for the five-star small forward.
The Westchester star has so far received offers from Arizona State, Arkansas, Kansas, Kansas State, Kentucky, Nebraska, Oregon, UCLA, UNLV, USC and Washington.
A scout from Duke University has also been seen watching his games, though no official offer has been made yet.
He is still "cool" on the offers sent to him, as noted by 247Sports, though he is expected to narrow down his list as he nears his high school graduation.
On3's prediction rankings have placed USC as the likeliest to receive Tajh Ariza's commitment with 17.4%.
However, not far behind is his father's alma mater, UCLA, which has a 15.2% chance of getting him committed. UNLV is in third place with 13.0%, with the other schools tied for fourth with 10.9%.
He has not yet visited any of the schools that have sent him offers, though he is expected to make his official visits to some of them in the near future.
