Bryce James, the youngest son of NBA legend LeBron James, spread holiday cheer with his latest Instagram post. The 16-year-old basketball prodigy, who was in Times Square with his Sierra Canyon high school team, shared a series of snaps on Instagram this Sunday.
Beyond the cheerful vibes radiating from the heartwarming team get-together snaps, the post's caption also captured the hearts of fans. James, a talented shooting guard, captioned it:
"Happy Holidays from our family to yours."
The festive spirit mirrored his father's recent Christmas post, where LeBron James offered fans an intimate glimpse into the family's holiday celebrations. Despite balancing a busy NBA schedule, the Lakers star shared a heartwarming collage of family photos last Thursday.
The post featured LeBron, his wife Savannah, sons Bronny and Bryce, and daughter Zhuri Nova dressed in matching red pajamas, posing by their beautifully adorned Christmas tree.
The NBA star captioned the post:
"MERRY CHRISTMAS FROM THE JAMES GANG TO YOURS!" LeBron's post quickly garnered over 3.7 million likes, as fans adored the joyful family reunion.
Bryce certainly seems to be following in his father’s footsteps, as his latest Instagram post beautifully reflected LeBron's heartfelt Christmas message.
Fans unimpressed with Bryce James and Sierra Canyon's recent performances
Due to injury, Bryce James missed several games at Sierra Canyon, including the much-anticipated matchup against Kiyan Anthony's LuHi.
However, the 6-foot-6 guard returned to the court on Dec. 21 against Milikan High School, a game which his team won 87-33. Then again, on Dec. 23, Bryce James and the team put up another exceptional show against the Venice Gondoliers, defeating them 89-51.
However, last Saturday, Sierra Canyon managed to win by only four points against Dougherty Valley. While 'Ballislife,' a popular basketball Instagram page, described it as a dominant performance, fans didn't take it lightly.
One fan bluntly commented:
“How they barely beat that team by 4. That means they're not very good, and they've got a lot of work to do."
While their last game was a close win, the Sierra Canyon Trailblazers are dominating the season with an 11-2 win ratio. They have overcome the challenge put up by Kiyan Anthony's Long Island Lutheran. Their next big clash will be with the Notre Dame Knights, featuring the No. 2-ranked 2026 prospect Tyran Stokes, on Jan. 10.
After that, the Trail Blazers will lock horns with Caleb Holt-led Grayson Rams on Jan. 18. Bryce James and his team have formidable challenges ahead of them next month. Fans will hope the Trail Blazers continue their winning streak.
