Five-star sophomore Jordyn Palmer of Westtown School in West Chester, Pennsylvania, celebrated a career milestone of 1,000 points during Friday's away game against the Shipley Gators. She made a tough shot over two defenders to clinch the landmark moment, and afterward, her family came out to celebrate her achievement.

Her family members held signs and posed with the No. 4-ranked recruit from the Class of 2027. Her teammates also came out with signs and posters to pose with her and congratulate her.

As the video showed, after she made that shot, the game was briefly paused, with the Shipley announcer, in a sign of sportsmanship, acknowledging the five-star sophomore's achievement, with the crowd cheering her on. Her teammates then approached her to celebrate with her, and her family followed suit soon after.

The 6-foot-1 small forward has been heralded as one of the best players in her class. Here is how 247Sports Director of Scouting for Women's Basketball Brandon Clay describes her:

"Palmer was a member of the USA Basketball 17-and-Under team that won a gold medal at the FIBA World Cup. Her unique blend of size, skill, and patience on the basketball court is a recipe for success. She helped Philly Rise win the 16-and-Under division at the USA Basketball Open Championships to end July in Rock Hill, South Carolina.
"Palmer then made waves at the MADE Hoops Next Generation Camp the following week. As a result, she has established herself as one of the premier prospects in the country."

Several schools already vying for sophomore star Jordyn Palmer

As one of the top prospects from the Class of 2027, Jordyn Palmer already has several offers from some of the top schools in the country. However, since she is still a sophomore, more offers are still expected to arrive, with her not expected to even begin cutting down her choices anytime soon.

Among the schools that have offered Jordyn Palmer so far are Louisville, ASU, South Carolina, North Carolina, Ohio State, Wisconsin, Michigan, Notre Dame, Florida State, Wake Forest, Michigan State, LSU, Baylor, Texas, Miami, Auburn, Texas A&M, Pittsburgh, Virginia Tech, UCLA, Kentucky and more.

For now, she and the Westtown Moose are scheduled to take on Germantown Friends on Tuesday, before taking on the Academy of the New Church on Friday. After that they will be up against Wyomissing on Saturday and then Bishop Ireton on Sunday, Jan. 19.
