Four-star linebacker Brayden Rouse remains one of the hottest names in the recruitment world with more than 20 offers. The standout from Kell High School (Georgia) has been a key target for Alabama and received an offer from the Crimson Tide coaching staff last week.

"It is winning football at Bama and by earning the offer, it makes me feel like what I am doing is right,” Rouse told Touchdown Alabama.

Alabama's 2024 season ended with a 9-4 record in Kalen DeBoer's first season. Despite some critics pointing fingers at DeBoer, prospects like Rouse have full trust in the Crimson Tide.

“They have been one of the most dominant programs in the last couple years and with the new coaching change, I feel that they are on a good path,” Rouse said.

Brayden Rouse is the No. 22 linebacker in the 2026 class and the No. 33 recruit in Georgia. If he chooses to join Alabama’s 2026 recruiting class, he will join four-star cornerback Zyan Gibson.

Brayden Rouse's versatility is a draw for college programs

Brayden Rouse is the type of linebacker college coaches want in their respective programs. Besides excelling as a linebacker, he also contributes at safety, edge rusher, wide receiver and tight end.

“I like playing both receiver and linebacker,” Rouse told SI. "I see myself playing linebacker at the next level because of my frame and my athleticism. I have played offense my whole life. Playing both keeps me in the loop. Playing linebacker keeps me working hard and will get me where I want go.”

In his junior season, Rouse recorded 105 tackles, 3.5 sacks and five pass breakups, while also adding 25 catches for 378 yards and eight touchdowns on offense.

Improving his point of contact, shedding blocks and handling pulling guards are Rouse’s key developmental priorities heading to his senior season. He is also prioritizing finding the right fit for his college career and looking at key aspects like atmosphere and campus life as crucial factors for his commitment.

Besides Alabama, Rouse also received offers from programs like Georgia, Auburn, Michigan, Florida State and Tennessee. The Crimson Tide coaching staff must work hard to check those boxes. Special assistant head coach Chuck Morrell is recruiting Alabama and the Crimson Tide has a 30.7% chance of securing his commitment, as per On3.
