Three-star wide receiver Jaylen Pile has been committed to Michigan since October. As college coaches make visits to committed players and potential targets from the last few days, Pile also received one from his future Wolverines coaches on Tuesday, including coach Sherrone Moore, wide receivers coach Ron Bellamy, general manager Sean Magee and offensive coordinator Chip Lindsey.

"It really meant a lot to have Coach Moore, Coach Bellamy and Coach Magee come to visit," Pile told The Michigan Insider. "It was good to meet Coach Lindsey, the new OC, for the first time and talk with all the coaches about how my season went and what they have planned for the offense.
"It was a chill kinda visit like with family we all just sat and talked about all kinds of stuff."

On Wednesday, Pile shared a snap with all four Michigan coaching staff on X, writing:

"Very grateful to have the coaching staff from Michigan stop by Parish today. Thank you @Coach_SMoore @19Bellamy @ChipLindsey11 @SeanMagee04 #GoBlue."

Jaylen Pile picked Michigan over schools such as Oklahoma, Texas, Arkansas, Penn State, Notre Dame and Virginia Tech, among others. He is the son of former Virginia Tech player Willie Pile, who later played for the Kansas City Chiefs and Dallas Cowboys.

Pile had a great bond with four-star quarterback Brady Hart, who was committed to Michigan but flipped to Texas A&M in November. However, Pile seems to be a hard commit in Michigan's 2026 class and has another fellow commit in the cycle in cornerback Brody Jennings.

Jaylen Pile shares Michigan coaches' praise about his athleticism

Jaylen Pile recorded 63 catches for 1,367 yards and 19 touchdowns in his junior season. He played up against top-level competition for Parish Episcopal, one of the top schools in Texas. So these stats are not to be taken lightly either.

Pile has been praised by scouts for using his elusiveness to create runs after the catch yardage and creating separation with explosiveness. Michigan coaches also let Pile know their viewpoint about his caliber during the latest visit on Tuesday.

"The (Michigan) coaches just told me to keep working and they really like my ability to create separation and make big plays," Pile told The Michigan Insider.

Jaylen Pile has the potential to grow into one of the top wide receivers in the 2026 class. He will be a day-one difference maker for Michigan when he officially enrolls in the program.
