Alabama has been keeping an eye on prospects and sending out offers to some recruits following the start of the new season. Jaiden Braker, who was also a South Carolina commit before giving a pledge to the Tigers, hit the jackpot on Sunday, as DeBoer personally extended a scholarship to him for the Crimson Tide's 2025 class.
The three-star LSU commit from South Gwinnett High School in Snellville, Georgia, shared the news in a post on X (formerly Twitter), tagging DeBoer.
"God is GOOD! After a great talk with @KalenDeBoer am excited to receive an offer from @AlabamaFTBL @CoachSanders14 @On3sports @NEGARecruits @JeremyO_Johnson @BCWright52 @RecruitGeorgia @dashperformance @rustymansell @ChadSimmons_ @247Sports #RollTide," Braker tweeted.
Alabama has a star-studded 2025 cycle with 21 committed players, which boasts No. 2 spot in the nation and No. 1 in the Southeastern Conference. The Crimson Tide has four-star linebackers Abduall Sanders and Luke Metz committed to the class.
Besides Jaiden Braker, Alabama extended offers to more than 20 linebacker prospects for its 2025 class, including committed players like Jonah Williams, Zayden Walker, Matai Tagoa'i, Elijah Barnes, Zaydrius Rainey-Sale and Noah Mikhail. The program also targeted uncommitted linebackers like Madden Faraimo, Tyler Lockhart, Elijah Melendez and Tarrell Greene for the cycle.
Alabama is preparing for its first road game of the season, set to face Wisconsin on Saturday. Under the guidance of new coach Kalen DeBoer, the Crimson Tide has had a dominant start to the season, boasting a 2-0 record. It opened with a 63-0 rout over WKU on August 31 and followed up with a 42-16 victory over USF on Saturday.
