The battle for Mouhamed Sylla, a top prospect from the 2025 class, is getting intense. John Capilari's Arkansas Razorbacks are next to host the 6-10 center. Per On3's Joe Tipton, the Bella Vista Prep star is set to make an official visit to Fayetteville on Sunday, Dec. 1.
Sylla is the top-ranked center and No.13 overall recruit in his class. Top institutions are lined up to add the tall youngster to their squad. On3's Jamie Shaw described Sylla as a twitchy forward who manages to stay around the ball consistently. His contributions on both ends of the floor, along with his rebounding skills, impressed the coaches from top schools.
"Sylla is capable of sliding his feet and turning his hips with perimeter-based forwards. He is also good in the passing lanes, and he can protect the rim both on and off the ball," Shaw pointed out.
Shaw believes Sylla is a great player right now and has the potential to become a star in the near future.
Which college will Mouhamed Sylla commit to?
Sylla reportedly has offers on the table from Georgia Tech, Kansas, Washington, Arizona State, Arkansas, and Oregon. After Sylla's visit to the Razorbacks Sunday, Arizona State would be the only school Sylla has yet to visit among his potential destinations.
Per On3, Georgia Tech is most likely to secure Sylla's commitment with a 25.7% chance of landing the forward. The Razorbacks are in second at 22.7% while Kansas is next in line at 19.3%. Washington and Oregon are tied for 19%, while Arizona State has less than a one per cent chance to sign Sylla. However, that could change when Sylla ultimately does visit Tempe.
