"Juju definitely introvert": Colorado fans react to QB signee Julian Lewis sitting next to Jordan Seaton and Justin Mayers on plane to Alamo Bowl

Colorado Buffaloes five-star quarterback signee Julian Lewis joined the team for the trip to the Alamo Bowl. In a video shared on X, Lewis is seen sitting between Jordan Seaton and Justin Mayers on a flight.

The video drew several reactions from Buffaloes fans.

A few fans suggested that the Carrollton (GA) product is an introvert.

“Juju definitely a introvert,” one wrote.

"Julian is not with all the cameras, I like that," one commented.

"Juju not use to the cameras lol," another said.

Another fan had a more comprehensive way of putting it.

One fan appeared impressed by how much Lewis has been able to achieve in such a short time, commenting:

“Nice!! State HS championship game, early graduate and then going to be with the team at the Bowl game - how fun is that!! Enjoy Julian!”

“Exciting to see these future stars together! The Alamo Bowl just got even more interesting,” another fan wrote.

The 2024 Alamo Bowl will be a matchup between the Colorado Buffaloes and the BYU Cougars. Led by energetic and dynamic coach Deion Sanders, the Buffs carry a 9-3 record from the regular season.

On the other hand, the Cougars are coached by Kalani Sitake. The team went 10-2 in the regular season, finishing only behind Arizona State in the Big 12 standings. The Cougars started the season 9-0 before falling to two straight losses against Kansas and Arizona State.

Julian Lewis was part of Colorado's scout team ahead of the Alamo Bowl

The Alamo Bowl will take place on Saturday at Alamodome in San Antonio, Texas. Colorado is expected to be at full strength, with Heisman winner Travis Hunter and standout quarterback Shedeur Sanders set to feature in the game.

This is contrary to the recent trend of draftable players opting out of bowl games to avoid picking up injuries that might affect their draft prospects.

Coach Prime explained that all the Buffs’ draftable players have insurance covering them in case of any injury during the bowl.

Sanders also said Julian Lewis would be part of the scout team ahead of the bowl game in order to help him learn the offense and show glimpses of what he's capable of.

"We gonna put his butt on the scout team and let him run against the ones. So we going to see if you flinch. We going to see what you got," Sanders told Romi Bean of CBS Colorado earlier this month.
