Julian Lewis' former teammate Dorian Barney breaks down three in-home visits including Georgia Bulldogs

Dorian Barney, a four-star cornerback from Carrollton High School, has received offers from some of the top college football programs in the country. The talented defensive back has offers from Texas A&M, Auburn, Alabama, Georgia, Florida State, Ohio State and Miami.

The 6-1 athlete recently hosted several of these programs at his home in Georgia. Alabama, Nebraska, Arizona State and Georgia Tech have all visited his house. In a recent interview, Barney mentioned that he had three in-home visits from Penn State, Georgia, and Texas A&M.

"I have had home visits with A&M, Georgia, and Penn State," Barney said, as per Sports Illustrated.

According to On3, the Texas A&M Aggies currently leading the race to sign the talented cornerback. The recruiting website has given the program a 54.7% chance of landing him. Barney spoke about the program's in-home visit and described their relationship as "strong."

"It was good. We were just talking and chilling. I have been up there three times during the season, they are trying to get me back up there," Barney said, according to SI. "Our relationship is strong. We’ve been talking since last spring, building and building. They are trying to get me up there every day and trying to get me to commit. We are building until that time comes."

The Georgia Bulldogs have their sights set on one of the best prospects from the Class of 2026. Dorian Barney, a four-star cornerback from Georgia, received an offer from the Bulldogs on Mar. 23, 2024.

Since then, the program has been relentless in their pursuit of the talented cornerback. The Bulldogs visited Barney at his home in Carrollton, and in a recent interview, Barney mentioned that he will be visiting Georgia on Feb. 1.

"It was good. Coach (Donte) Williams and coach T-Rob (Travaris Robinson), both their DB coaches, came by," the four-star defenseman said, as per SI. "They are also trying to get me up there. I am going there on Feb. 1. We were building. They had already met my family, but they came to talk with my family."

According to On3, Dorian Barney is ranked as the No. 87 overall prospect in the nation and the No. 10 cornerback in the Class of 2026. Additionally, he is the 10th-best overall recruit from the state of Georgia.
