Adrian Holley announced his commitment to the Kansas Jayhawks on Jun. 16. Holley, a three-star edge rusher, had a fantastic final season in high school and was named in the Indiana Football Coaches Association Top 50 All-State on Saturday.

The IFCA released its list of the state's 50 best defensemen this year. Holley was the only member of the Michigan City Wolves (IN) to feature in the list.

He chose the Lance Leipold-led program over schools such as Minnesota, Cincinnati and Miami (OH). The 6-foot-4 athlete got a huge rating boost as he was bumped up to a four-star recruit by 247Sports just a day before signing with the Jayhawks. He is the program's only four-star signee from the Class of 2025, as per the recruiting website.

Holley had a productive senior year for the Wolves, tallying 84 total tackles and 12.5 sacks. In his two seasons with Michigan City, the four-star recruit racked up 125 total tackles and 19.5 sacks in 18 games.

The edge rusher is ranked No. 1001 in the country and is the 89th-best edge rusher from the Class of 2025, as per On3. He is also the 18th-best overall prospect from the state of Indiana.

"The people," Holley said, as per 247Sports. "Coach Leipold, Coach Panagos, Coach O, these guys know what they're doing. And more than that, they're just great men overall. And then also seeing the writing on the wall, how the uptick in Kansas football has been.
"There's so much for Kansas football in the future, and to be able to be blessed with the opportunity to come here, I feel like I'd do myself a disservice not coming to Kansas."

Kansas' Class of 2025 is ranked No. 58 in the country, as per 247Sports. The program signed 15 athletes from the class, with Adrian Holley being its top recruit.
