Jason Crowe Jr., the No. 8 overall prospect in the 2026 class, has been displaying excellent performances for Inglewood High School (California). The son of former basketball player Jason Crowe Sr. still has one year to decide on his collegiate career; however, it has been reported that he is hearing from seven programs.

Per Big Blue Nation Zone on Friday, Crowe Jr. is drawing interest from Kentucky, Arkansas, Michigan, Miami, USC, UCLA and Washington.

Crowe Jr. is also the No. 5 prospect in California. He played for Lynwood High School before transferring to Inglewood in the 2022-23 season.

As a freshman at Inglewood, Crowe Jr. averaged 36.0 points, 3.1 rebounds, 5.4 assists, 3.5 steals and 0.5 blocks in 36 games. He improved his stats in his sophomore season as he recorded 37.4 ppg, 4.5 rpg, 5.8 apg and 3.9 spg in 29 matchups.

His father played for 13 years overseas in New Zealand, Australia, Latin America and Bulgaria. His breakout season was in 2008 when he earned the MVP, Most Outstanding Guard and assist champion and won the NZNBL title.

During Paul Pierce's "Truth Lounge" podcast in December, Crowe Jr. shared his experience talking to five-time NBA All-Star Jayson Tatum and two-time NBA scoring champ Russell Westbrook.

"Jayson Tatum, I talk to him here and there," Crowe Jr. said (32:53). "He always gives me pointers and stuff like that. I text him every couple days and stuff like that. And then obviously Westbrook, playing for his program, we talk very often, just give me pointers and stuff like that and so that's it."
