Grace Knox, ranked No. 6 in the ESPN Top 100, is a team captain for the Etiwanda Eagles and has played a key role in leading them to an 18-4 record this season. Moreover, the Eagles are currently on a 14-game winning streak.

Knox announced her commitment to the LSU Tigers last November at the expense of other top colleges like UCLA, Tennessee, USC and Texas. She, alongside five-star class prospects Zakiyah Johnson, Divine Bourrage and Isabella Hines, will be playing college basketball for the Tigers next season. For now, she's keeping her focus on helping Etiwanda as they face Moreno Valley in their next game on Saturday.

In addition to Knox, fellow Etiwanda Eagles captain Aliyahna Morris also received a nomination for the award.

Etiwanda Ends Incarnate Word's Historic 141-Game Winning Streak at Hoophall Classic

Incarnate Word Academy hadn't lost a 5-on-5 high school girls' basketball game since Feb. 8, 2020, until they faced the Eagles on Monday. Their historic 141-game winning streak, the longest ever in 5-on-5 high school girls' basketball, came to an end with a 74-65 loss to Etiwanda.

Five-star prospects Grace Knox and Aliyahna Morris were key to Etiwanda's victory. Morris led the charge with 26 points, doubling Knox's 13-point contribution. The loss, which was Incarnate Word's first this season, also put an end to their 10-game winning streak.
