Four-star LSU commit ZaKiyah Johnson is once again in the spotlight for her impressive performance. The 6-foot guard put up 29 points, five rebounds and three assists to help Sacred Hearts Academy to a 60-49 win against the Cooper Jaguars.
In a short clip shared on Friday via @ballislifewbb on Instagram, fans got to see the 18-year-old in action against the Jaguars. One reaction that stood out was that of Gary Redus, the assistant of LSU coach Kim Mulkey.
"IT'S TOO EASY," he wrote.
Some fans in the comments echoed the same:

Going into the game on Friday, the Valkyries were hoping to kickstart the new year with a win after closing 2024 with a 71-51 win against Galloway.
They outscored Cooper by seven points in the first quarter. Even though they were outscored in the third, they stayed ahead by at least nine points all game, giving the Jaguars no chance of a comeback.
Apart from ZaKiyah, another standout player who also played a crucial role in the Valkyries' victory was Morgan Frey. The 6-foot-1 power forward ended the game with eight points, 10 rebounds and three assists.
With that victory, the Valkyries are now 7-2 this season. They will be hoping to improve it even more when they face Ryle High School in their next game on Wednesday.

ZaKiyah Johnson's 29-point haul against the Cooper Jaguars was almost half of the team's total points. This marks four straight games in which she has scored at least one-third of the team's total points.
