The Long Island Lutheran Crusaders secured a 77-66 come-from-behind victory against Christopher Columbus High School on Saturday despite being without star player Kiyan Anthony, who remains sidelined due to an injury from a fall against St. Joseph's.

Kiyan's mother, La La Anthony, showed her support for the team by commenting on a post from the LuHi Basketball Instagram account, which shared photos of the Crusaders celebrating their big win in the locker room.

"Incredible 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥," she commented.

The game, part of the Jordan Holiday Classic, was anticipated to mark Anthony's return, but he remained sidelined, having already missed several games, including last weekend's City of Palms Classic.

The Columbus Explorers boast a star-studded lineup led by Cameron and Cayden Boozer, five-star prospects and twin sons of Carlos Boozer, who have committed to their father's alma mater, Duke. Joining them are five-star Caleb Gaskins and four-star Jaxon Richardson, another NBA legacy player. Kiyan Anthony, meanwhile, has committed to Syracuse.

Mingo brothers and Nigel James led LuHi in the absence of Kiyan Anthony

While Kiyan Anthony's return remains uncertain, the Crusaders leaned on the Mingo brothers, Kayden and Dylan, along with four-star Nigel James, to step up in his absence.

Kayden Mingo, a four-star Penn State commit, recorded 25 points, four rebounds and three assists against Columbus. His younger brother, Dylan, a five-star junior, contributed 20 points, seven rebounds and two assists. Marquette commit Nigel James added 18 points, seven assists and four rebounds.

The Columbus Explorers held a double-digit lead at halftime. Long Island Lutheran rallied with a strong second-half performance, out-rebounding Columbus 28-21 despite the presence of No. 2-ranked Cameron Boozer.

Boozer was limited to 12 points, seven rebounds and six assists. It was five-star small forward Caleb Gaskins who led the Explorers, scoring 21 points.

Jaxon Richardson, son of former NBA Slam Dunk Contest champion Jason Richardson, added 17 points and five rebounds, while Cayden Boozer recorded a double-double with 12 points, 10 assists and four rebounds.
