Four-star UConn signee Braylon Mullins excelled in Greenfield-Central's victory against Jeffersonville on Saturday. The 6-foot-4 shooting guard scored an impressive 39 points to lead Greenfield to a 69-66 victory.
In a video put out by high school basketball page Slam High School on Instagram, fans got a glimpse of Mullins's 39-point performance. They expressed their excitement in the comments section, with some focusing on his signing with UConn.
"Landing with Dan Hurley was a good choice," one fan said.
"Looks like a UConn commit," another fan wrote.
"Keep hooping at the best of your ability. We gonna come grab u 🤍💙 UConn," a UConn fan commented.
There were also several comments that focussed on Mullins's abilities.
"No music needed. Just the sweet sound of a young man killing on the hardwood in Indiana🔥," one fan said.
"He's good," another said.
"He's so tuff," a fan wrote.
"Absolutely love this kid! and though this year may be rough, next season is gonna be FULL of talent," another commented.
Braylon Mullins signed with the University of Connecticut back in October. He chose UConn over Michigan, Cincinnati, Alabama, and his home state, Indiana.
"I felt like playing for Coach Hurley was the best decision and fit for myself," he told ESPN. "Coming off back-to-back national championships, he understands winning and that meant a lot to me."

6-foot-4 shooting guard Braylon Mullins has been a crucial part of the Greenfield-Central team, leading them to a 7-2 record this season. His performance was not enough on Saturday, though, as the team fell to an 85-80 loss against the Fishers Tigers.
Mullins scored 33 points and grabbed eight rebounds. The Greenfield-Central Cougars will look to bounce back against Rushville on Friday.
