LeBron James' son Bryce James took to his Instagram story on Saturday to share a post highlighting his former Sierra Canyon teammate, Wesley Waddles' skills. The post, which was originally shared by @beachcityhoops, featured a carousel of three slides. It was more or less an appreciation post that included an image and two videos showcasing Waddles' skillful display against various opponents.
The post, which Bryce reposted on his IG story within an hour of its original upload, was also posted on Waddles' IG page, @wesleywaddles. According to the caption, the post was meant to highlight Wesley Waddles' performance this season, which has seen him average 19.4 points, 8.5 rebounds and 2.5 blocks per game. The caption read:
"Viewpoint 2025 Wesley Waddles has taken it up a level to kick off his senior season, showing his tremendous growth offensively on all 3 levels. The 6'6 wing is currently averaging 19.4 points, 8.5 rebounds & 2.5 blocks per game ⌛️"
Waddles and Bryce James were teammates at Sierra Canyon before he made the switch to Viewpoint last year. Bryce, however, is still a student and an athlete at Sierra Canyon, where he's begun his senior year. The team's recorded an impressive 9-2 record this season and the next game comes against Venice on Monday.
Like Bryce, Waddles has also kicked off his senior season with Viewpoint, and he's been incredible so far. He's been a crucial part of the team, leading them to a 10-3 record.
