Bronny James, the eldest of LeBron James, scored his first NBA basket in Cleveland, and his brother, Bryce James, shared it on his Instagram Stories on Wednesday. The shot happened late in the game during the LA Lakers' 134-110 loss to the Cavaliers, in the city where it all began for the James family.

The shot itself was a difficult one, with a hand in his face. However, Bronny managed to sink it, and the Cleveland crowd went wild. Even though they were playing for the opposing team, LeBron and Bronny are considered locals, as the family is from nearby Akron.

Meanwhile, Bryce James is possibly coming home to Ohio for college, with the Ohio State Buckeyes being the current frontrunner to receive the three-star shooting guard's commitment.

Bronny's first official basket took place with just 2:06 left on the clock and the Lakers' chances of winning the game dwindling, with the Cavs leading 123-103. However, the former USC Trojans guard surprised everyone with a stepback jumper. He finished the game with two points, two assists and one steal.

Bronny's entrance in Cleveland was also a special one, as the announcer made sure to let the crowd know that he was born in Akron in 2004. He was then met with loud cheers from his hometown crowd.

Bryce James is close to his brother, Bronny

Bryce James has always been close with his older brother, with Bronny often looking after him when they were younger. It has been reported that Bronny has always been protective of Bryce and that Bronny comforted his brother when he got into an accident on a playground when they were young.

Sarah Johnston, who used to be Bryce's teacher, recalled that after the accident, she took him to the nurse's office to be treated. He had hit his head and was bleeding. This was when Bronny came and held his younger brother's hand as he was treated.

Bryce James is now a senior at Sierra Canyon and has two offers for college, Duquesne and Ohio State. However, Bronny's alma mater, USC, is also interested in him.

There is some dispute as to how the youngest of LeBron's sons should be rated, as he is currently ranked as a four-star by On3 and ESPN, and the No. 98 overall by On3. However, 247Sports and Rivals list him as an unranked three-star.
