Bryce James, son of four-time NBA champ LeBron James, took to his Instagram story on Saturday to reshare a post by his teammate Bryce Cofield with a song by American rapper Lil Yachty.
Sierra Canyon bagged the win after a tight 62-61 non-conference game against the Millennium Tigers on Dec. 7.
Cofield is a three-star recruit in the Class of 2025 who, according to On3, ranks 177th nationally, 45th in the shooting guard position, and 23rd in California. The 6-foot-5 Chatsworth (CA) native also has an offer from Southern Utah.
Bryce James is ranked 204th nationally, 54th in the shooting guard position, and 26th in California. The 6-foot-4 shooting guard represented his father's team, Team Strive for Greatness (SFG), in the Nike Peach Tournament. James averaged 5.6 points, 2.4 rebounds, 1.0 blocks and 0.2 steals in 22.2 minutes per game while shooting 31.4% in addition to 50% from the free-throw line.
One of his best performances was against the eventual champions, Nightrydas Elite, where he scored 12 points. When James came against the No. 2 recruit in the Class of 2026 and Duke commit Cameron Boozer, he scored a career-high 21 points in the Nike EYBL Tour on May 18 with LeBron James in the stands.
The Class of 2025 recruit has offers from Ohio State and Duquesne. The Buckeyes have a 92.6% chance of landing James while the Dukes have a 7.4% prediction of signing him, per On3. Interestingly, Keith Dambrot, the Duquesne coach, was also the coach at St. Vincent–St. Mary High School in Akron, Ohio, where LeBron James used to play.
