Bryce James, son of the four-time NBA Champ LeBron James was a proud brother after Bronny James led the South Bay Lakers against Rip City Remix to a 122-110 win. He scored a career-high 31 points on 45.4% shooting, including 45.4% from the 3-point line.
While Bronny also added two rebounds, three assists and two steals, a highlight of him putting the Rip City Remix defender on a poster went viral. Famous basketball page Overtime uploaded the video of the dunk, which was later reshared by his brother Bronny James on his IG story with a one-word reaction:
"OMG."
Bronny James talked about his dunk after the game.
“It felt great … it’s a highlight reel,” James said of his big dunk. “Not much you can say about that, it was just crazy.”
The former USC player was picked by the Los Angeles Lakers as the 55th pick in the 2024 NBA Draft. He was moved to the G League to play for the South Bay Lakers subsequently. He scored 30 points, grabbed three rebounds and dished out three assists in his debut game against the Valley Suns.
In 12 games for the Los Angeles Lakers, the 6-foot-3 combo guard averaged 0.3 points on 9.1% shooting, 0.2 rebounds, 0.3 assists, 0.1 blocks and 0.2 steals per game. However, his stats saw a bump in the G League where he played seven games and averaged 13.4 ppg, 3.0 rpg, 3.4 apg, 1.3 spg and 0.7 BPG.
His brother, Bryce James plays for the Sierra Canyon and committed to the Arizona Wildcats on Jan. 1. He had offers from Ohio State and Duquesne.

Sierra Canyon's 71-62 victory against Crespi had some star-studded visitors in LeBron and Bronny James. The father-son duo were in the stands along with grandmother Gloria James to support Bryce James.
Overtime shared a video on X showing the trio watching the game as the Sierra Canyon senior drained a 3-pointer. Check out the video below:
The 21-time NBA All-Star also shared a story on his Instagram with supportive words for his son:
"Keep going UP Maximus!!!! Work always prevails! @justbryce."
The 6-foot-4 shooting guard will join Dwayne Aristode at Arizona next season.
