Sierra Canyon shooting guard Bryce James often promotes other high school basketball talent on Instagram. On Saturday, he shared some highlights featuring Chatsworth combo guard Velijah Miller, who also used to be his teammate at Sierra Canyon.
While he used to play for Sierra Canyon alongside Bryce James, Velijah Miller now plays with Alijah Arenas and the Chatsworth Chancellors. Last week, from Dec. 18-23, they competed at the Capitol City Classic in Salem, Oregon, which was where the highlights came from.
The Chancellors played four games during the tournament, losing their opener against Western Christian, which meant Alijah Arenas and company would have to settle for the fifth place bracket.
They won their next three games, beating West Albany 66-56, before dominating Wilsonville 75-45. Chatsworth then took on Sherwood for the fifth place spot, which the Chancellors won, 68-59.
After transferring to Chatsworth from Sierra Canyon, Velijah Miller formed a dynamic duo of sorts with Arenas. At the Capitol City Classic, he averaged 13 points, seven rebounds and five assists, being the Chancellors' second option, next only to the five-star Alijah Arenas.
Chatsworth is currently participating at the "Classic in Damien" and has now lost two in a row. This first loss was against five-star 2026 prospect Jason Crowe Jr. and Inglewood, 88-84, and then against UC San Diego commit Uriah Tenette and Prescott, 93-87. The team now has a 9-3 record.
LeBron James shares wholesome family photo featuring Bronny and Bryce James
Meanwhile, Bryce James, who just returned to active duty for Sierra Canyon, spent his holiday time with his family. This included his NBA superstar father, LeBron, and his rising G-League star big brother, Bronny.
While he was away on Christmas day, LeBron posted a photo of himself and his family and wished everybody a merry Christmas. The photo featured his kids, Bronny, Zhuri and Bryce James, as well as his wife, Savannah. All of them were wearing matching pajamas in front of a Christmas tree.
While Bryce James is the younger brother, the photo shows that he is now actually taller than Bronny and almost as tall as his father, who is officially listed as 6-foot-9.
Now a senior, Bryce James is currently visiting several schools and deciding which college he wants to play for next year. He currently has two offers, one is from Duquesne and the other is from Ohio State, though USC and Arizona have shown interest.
