Sierra Canyon High School had its senior night on Thursday as the school honored its senior stars, including three-star Arizona commit Bryce James, son of LeBron James. His family, including his superstar dad and G-league brother, Bronny, were there. His mom, Savannah, took to social media to celebrate his school honoring him on senior night.
Savannah gave her youngest son his flowers while LeBron was holding a cutout of his face from when he was a kid. Meanwhile, Bronny was poking fun at his younger brother while holding up another cutout. The youngest James child, Zhuri, was also there to celebrate Bryce James.
Savannah accompanied Bryce to Arizona during his visit to the school, as LeBron was busy with the LA Lakers. Bryce shocked many earlier this month, when he announced that he was going to Arizona, upending what many had predicted, which was him going back to Ohio and playing for Ohio State.
The three-star shooting guard missed the earlier parts of the season but made his triumphant return last month. Sierra Canyon is now 15-3 and is set to take on powerhouse Grayson Rams next, on Jan. 18. The team is led by five-star prospect Caleb Holt.
Bryce James helps Sierra Canyon to dominating victory over Loyola on senior night
After Bryce James and the other seniors were honored during senior night, the Sierra Canyon Trailblazers took down the Loyola Cubs in a dominating 84-42 win. Bryce James was in double digits with 12 points, 5 rebounds, and 4 assists that night.
It was a packed house at Sierra Canyon, with his superstar dad in attendance. Bryce impressed with a reverse layup over some Loyola defenders, as well as an and-one scoop shot off the dribble. He also showed his passing skills, including throwing an accurate alley-oop assist, as well as showing that he could defend the ball very well.
After taking on Grayson, the Sierra Canyon Trailblazers will be on a three-game road trip to take on Crespi on Jan. 22, St. Francis on Jan. 24, and Harvard Westlake on Jan. 28. They will then take on Bishop Alemany on Jan. 30 before going on the road again to take on five-star Tyran Stokes and Notre Dame (Sherman Oaks).
