After missing an entire month due to injury, Long Island Lutheran Crusaders star Kiyan Anthony, son of NBA legend Carmelo Anthony, returned on Jan. 10. The four-star Syracuse signee was in action against Green Tech on Saturday.

Anthony (18 points) led the Crusaders to an 87-62 victory over the Green Tech Eagles. However, he was not the highest scorer as that honor went to his four-star teammate, Nigel James.

Fans also commented on the post and made their opinions known:

"lmfaooo let’s ignore how he stole bro pass first play 😂," said one commenter.
"real talk if kiyan gets more muscle on his body his potential is so high," another commenter pointed out.
"I love that Kiyan is getting more athletic," another commenter added.

Others also pointed out that this was not Kiyan Anthony's best game, while others admitted they were in awe of the four-star shooting guard's prowess.

"I was at the game. I am huge fan of Kiyans game but he didn’t put on a show today. He shot poorly and it wasn’t an efficient 18 points. Great player but he didn’t play well today," admitted one fan.
"Oh so they're a dynamic duo got it!!!!!! Work!!!!!!" another person noted.
"I love that Kiyan is getting more athletic," said another commenter.

Kiyan returned against Veritas Academy on Jan. 10 (a 61-53 win) and has played every single game since. He was injured during his team's season opener against St. Joseph's Collegiate Institute on Nov. 30, falling on his side after hitting a defender during a dunk.

Long Island Lutheran Crusaders are undefeated since Kiyan Anthony returned

With their win against Green Tech last Saturday, the Long Island Lutheran Crusaders improved to 13-5 and are on a 10-game winning streak. Six of those wins have come after Kiyan Anthony's return earlier this month. Since then, LuHi has had victories over nationally ranked teams like La Lumiere and AZ Compass Prep.

There are still plenty of big challenges coming up for the Crusaders this season, with a big matchup against Paul VI on Feb. 1, Oak Hill Academy on Valentine's Day and IMG Academy on Feb. 15.
