Bryce James took to Instagram on Tuesday to reshare a picture with Sierra Canyon High School coach Sandell Jones. Jones initially posted the snap with James from Sierra Canyon's media day carousel.
"@_justbryce Year 4, but really year 6 low key... LFG kid!" Jones captioned.
James is active on Instagram and often reshares news about commitments and updates from his friends and other prospects from his class. He has reshared snaps from Kiyan Anthony's senior debut, the Boozer twins committing to Duke and commented on a heartfelt post by the Combs twins.
James is entering his senior season with Sierra Canyon. He is the No. 204 prospect nationally, the No. 54 shooting guard in the 2026 class and the No. 26 recruit in California, per On3.
He represented his father's team, Strive for Greatness, in the Nike Peach Jam in July and played 22.2 minutes per game. He averaged 5.6 points, on 31.4% shooting, along with 2.4 rebounds and 1.0 blocks.
He scored 12 points against the eventual champions, Nightrydas Elite. In the game against Kiyan Anthony and Team Melo, James recorded eight points and two rebounds while Anthony scored 18 points and dished out four assists.
During a Nike EYBL Tour game on May 18 against Cameron and Cayden Boozer's Nighrydas, Bryce James scored 21 points as LeBron James coached on the sidelines.
Bryce James' commitment status
Bryce James took an unofficial visit to Arizona on Nov. 28 and at USC on Oct. 8. While there are rumors about James' commitment, his mother took to Instagram to share a story to end all the rumors.
"#NotCommitted," Savannah James captioned a story on Nov. 27.
According to On3, James has received offers from Ohio State and Duquesne. Their prediction machine has given the Buckeyes a 92.6% chance of landing James while Duke has a 7.4% chance.
