Despite being ranked as a three-star prospect, Kaufman High School standout Aljour Miles is regarded as one of the most promising talents in the 2026 class. He has been a big name in recruiting circles since last year and received his latest offer from Lincoln Riley's USC on Sunday.

Riley and wide receivers coach Dennis Simmons extended the offer to Miles.

"After a great conversation with Coach @LincolnRiley and @CoachSimmonsSC , I am blessed to receive an offer from the University of Southern California (USC)," Miles posted on X.

Miles wrapped up his junior season with 78 catches for 1,450 yards and 14 touchdowns, along with 20 pancake blocks. This followed a promising sophomore year in 2023, where he recorded 58 receptions for 971 yards and 11 touchdowns. He runs a 4.55-second 40-yard dash and has a 38.4-inch vertical leap as well.

Miles is the No. 76 wide receiver in the 2026 class, the No. 59 prospect in Texas and the No. 480 recruit in the nation, according to On3. Securing Miles for the 2026 class would be a significant win for USC, whose recruiting class is ranked No. 2 in the nation with eight commits. It already has a wide receiver commit in three-star prospect Ja'Myron Baker.

Can USC secure Aljour Miles' commitment?

With the offer on Sunday, USC entered Aljour Miles' list of offers that features schools like UTSA, Pittsburgh, Michigan State, UTEP, Texas Tech, Boston College, SMU, Oklahoma and Tulsa, among others.

"I have a lot of learning to do," Miles told Texas Football. "I have written a couple of research papers on some schools. I am not trying to rush through it. I am trying to take my time and evaluate all of my options. I have plenty of time. I am open to everybody."

As of now, Oklahoma is leading the race for Miles' recruitment with a 56.2% chance of securing his commitment, followed by SMU at 33.3%, as per On3. The Trojans just entered the race and would have to push strongly moving forward to get an edge in his recruitment. The next step for Riley's coaching staff would be to host the wide receiver for a visit.
