Four-star defensive lineman Dylan Berymon, from Ouachita Parish High School in Louisiana, is one of the most promising players in the 2026 cycle. His broad trunk, sturdy base and strength have made him a highly coveted recruit.
Berymon has already received offers from big programs like LSU, Texas, Oregon and Florida, among others. Lincoln Riley's USC extended an offer to him on Monday. USC defensive line coach and run game coordinator Eric Henderson reached out with the offer and Berymon posted about it on X.
"#AGTG🙏🏾 After a great talk with @Coach_Henny Im blessed to say i have received an Offer from @uscfb!!! ❤️💛✌🏾."
The offer came after Berymon made a gameday visit to Los Angeles on Saturday. He was in attendance during the Trojans' 33-30 overtime loss to No. 4-ranked Penn State.
Following his visit, Berymon posted a snap with Henderson on X with the caption:
"I definitely had a wonderful visit yesterday @uscfb thank you @Coach_Henny 🟥🟨!!!"
Although the Trojans already have the No. 2-ranked recruiting class for 2026, they have yet to secure a commitment from a DL. Besides Berymon, they have also extended offers to other DL prospects, including Vodney Cleveland, JaReylan McCoy, James Carrington and Titan Davis, among others.
They continue to pursue three-star DL Malik Brooks, as the On3 Recruiting Prediction Machine (RPM) has given them a 67% chance of securing his commitment. It also gave them a 58% chance of securing the pledge of another three-star DL, Joseph Peko.
Which schools are in contention for Dylan Berymon's commitment?
LSU is the clear frontrunner in Dylan Berymon's recruitment with a 98.6% chance, per the RPM. Tigers defensive line coach Bo Davis has played a crucial role in building a strong relationship with him and maintaining the momentum in their favor. Berymon was present during their 34-17 victory over UCLA on Sept. 21.
However, Texas Longhorns defensive line coach Kenny Baker has also made Berymon a key target for them. They extended an offer to him in June following his strong performance at their Elite Camp.
Dylan Berymon attended the Longhorns' dominant 35-13 win over Mississippi State on Sept. 28. However, despite their interest, the RPM has only given them a less than 1% chance of landing his commitment.
