Xzavion "Zay" Robinson may be a three-star wide receiver, but the Iowa State Hurricanes commit has shown he could shine across multiple sports, including basketball. His hooping prowess caught the attention of five-star shooting guard and fellow Iowa native Divine Bourrage, who shared his stats on her Instagram Stories on Thursday.
"OMG Zay you're tuff," Bourrage wrote.
Robinson averaged 30.0 points and 7.5 rebounds on 68.0% shooting in his first two games of the season. This comes after Valley High School's football team recently ended its campaign.
As for Bourrage, she is the No. 9-ranked prospect from the Class of 2025 and is one of four five-stars recruited by Kim Mulkey's program, along with No. 7-ranked Grace Knox, No. 10-ranked ZaKiyah Johnson and No. 29-ranked Bella Hines.
She is also the No. 1-ranked player in Iowa and has been described as having the size and skill to play the point guard and wing positions.
She is athletic and has deep range, with a good stepback jumper. Bourrage could also frustrate defenders by attacking the rim using either hand.
Five-star Divine Bourrage and Davenport North in a two-game losing streak
Despite having one of the best players in Divine Bourrage, Davenport North has recently struggled as they ended 2024 and started 2025 with losses. The team lost to Johnston 63-38 on Dec. 21. They tried to bounce back against Pleasant Valley on Tuesday, but lost again, 50-35.
The Bourrage-led team will look to end the slide against Assumption on Friday. Davenport North will then take on Muscatine on Tuesday and Clinton on Jan. 17. They will end the month with games against Davenport West on Jan. 21 and Central Clinton on Jan. 24.
Davenport Noth is 5-4 overall but 5-1 in conference play.
