Divine Bourrage, the No.1 shooting guard from the 2025 class, seems to be excited about her potential future coach, Kim Mulkey. The 5-foot-9 guard shared her reaction to the LSU Tigers coach's piano skills on Instagram. LSU's social media handle shared a clip of Mulkey showcasing her piano skills on Tuesday.
"Who knew @coachkimmulkey played the piano?" the post's caption read.
Just a few hours later, Bourrage reshared the post on her story.
"Hidden talent Coach Mulk," she wrote.
Divine Bourrage committed to Kim Mulkey's LSU Tigers in September and signed with the program last month.
Mulkey was a huge factor behind her decision. Bourrage had offers from top universities, including Illinois, Missouri, Florida and Kentucky. But she picked LSU following her visit to its facilities on Sept. 8, when the LSU football team played the Nicholls State Colonels.
"I like how Kim Mulkey is with her players," Bourrage told On3.
Divine has seen Mulkey being loving to her players, and the Davenport, Iowa, native feels that's what a player wants. She added that the family aspect also played a part in her commitment.
"It’s a dream come true. I’ve been a big Kim Mulkey fan for a long time," she said.
The young shooting guard said she almost cried after the Tigers hit her up and made an offer. Divine Bourrage has talked a lot to Kim Mulkey over the phone and loved the interactions.
Kim Mulkey attends Divine Bourrage's high school clash
LSU coach Kim Mulkey and her staff cheered for their 2025 recruit from the stands on Dec. 10. They had some free time, owing to the college finals, and decided to surprise Bourrage. However, it didn't go as planned. Despite Divine's efforts, Davenport North High School lost to Central DeWitt 52-42.
Divine Bourrage and Kim Mulkey posed for pictures and sat together for a while before the game. The five-star recruit shared some special moments from the game on her Instagram handle.
"Failed history cuz I was focused on my future," she captioned the post.
Mulkey knows how important Divine can be for the Tigers in the upcoming season.
"The position she plays was the first thing. We need a perimeter player," she said.
Bourrage can handle the point guard position and can play off-guard as well. Kim Mulkey is going to enjoy that she is going to be an LSU player.
