LSU signee Divine Bourrage and Illinois signee Destiny Jackson may go to different schools, but the two have remained friends. Bourrage showed her friend some love on her Instagram stories for the four-star point guard's hooping skills.
"My bestie better than yours," wrote Divine Bourrage in the caption.
The Sports Hip Hop Instagram page's post showed several highlights from Jackson's game playing for her high school team, the Whitney Young Dolphins.
Divine Bourrage is the No. 9 ranked overall from the Class of 2025, the No. 1 ranked prospect in Iowa and the No. 2 ranked shooting guard from her class, per On3.
Meanwhile, Destiny Jackson is rated five-star by several websites, including ESPN and 247Sports Composite. She is ranked No. 29 by 247Sports Composite and the No. 6 point guard, as well as the No. 1 overall prospect in the state of Illinois.
How Divine Bourrage would fit in with the LSU Tigers under Kim Mulkey
Kim Mulkey assembled one of the most impressive crops from the Class of 2025, featuring five stars Bella Hines, Zakiyah Johnson, Grace Knox and Divine Bourrage.
Last-Tear Poa and Shyanne Day-Wilson are graduating after this season ends, which means LSU needs some ball-handlers next season, though this would be the role for Hines. Bourrage will be her wing, with the shooting guard adding more size to that Tigers backcourt. While Hines will be the playmaker, Bourrage will slot in as a three-level scorer.
The Davenport North star can take defenders off the dribble and get into the lane. She is also an underrated passer, finding the open woman if she is heavily guarded. If not, she could create space and set.
Bourrage is scouted as an excellent perimeter shooter, and this is what Kim Mulkey needs next season. The shooting guard also shows that she can defend herself, a trait Mulkey likes.
