LSU star Flau'jae Johnson shows love for 4-star commit Grace Knox’s season tipoff post

Etiwanda High School's five-star small forward, Grace Knox, committed to Flau'jae Johnson's LSU earlier in November. Many in Baton Rouge have been showing her a lot of love on social media.

This can be seen in her Instagram post, which drew reactions from various LSU players and staff.

Knox posted about the new 2024-2025 high school basketball season, which will be her last with Etiwanda. One of the LSU personalities who commented on her post was star guard Flau'jae Johnson.

"❤️," commented the LSU Tigers guard and rapper.

Flau'jae Johnson was not the only one reacting to Grace Knox's post, as two LSU assistant coaches, Joe Schwarz and Gary Redus, also made their presence felt.

"😈," commented LSU assistant coach Joe Schwarz.

"The real is back," added LSU assistant coach Gary Redus.

Grace Knox is ranked No. 4 overall by On3 and also the No. 1 player from the state of California from the Class of 2025. She is also the No. 1 small forward in her class.

For the 2024-2025 season, the Etiwanda Eagles are 2-2, losing to No. 1 sophomore Kaleena Smith and Ontario Christian on Nov. 23, by 74-66.

They then lost again, this time to Cypress Springs, 65-63. The Eagles will take on the Duncanville Panthers in Duncanville, Texas, next, and it will happen on Nov. 30.

The school will then take on Millani on Dec. 12 and then West Jordan on Dec. 26. After that will be a game against Oak Ridge High School on Dec. 28, and they will finish off the year against La Jolla Country Day on Dec. 28.

Five-star LSU commit Grace Knox met LSU assistant coach

Knox is coming into LSU with plenty of hype, with several of the school's assistant coaches watching her games. One of them is Gary Redus, and he posted an Instagram story of his meeting with the prodigy.

Redus was one of the reasons why LSU received Knox's commitment earlier this month. She admitted that she mainly talked to Redus and LSU head coach Kim Mulkey prior to her commitment. Knox also noted that she felt "the energy that they give off."

LSU now has several five-star commits, including Knox. The others include ZaKiyah Johnson, Divine Bourrage and Bella Hines.
