"Help us wish future Tiger Grace Knox a happy birthday 🥳," the caption of the original post read.

Knox made an official visit to the Tigers in the second week of September. She chose the Tigers over top colleges across the nation, including USC, Texas, Tennessee and UCLA. On Nov. 6, the Tigers announced they had secured the commitment of the Rancho Cucamonga native. She also shared her thought process behind her commitment.

"Being able to bond with the coach that I’d want to play for and have passion with," Knox told On3.

It was important for Knox to understand the style of play and her fit into the program. She wanted to be her best self as the location was the least of her concerns.
