On3 Recruits posted its latest rankings of the top high school basketball prospects from the Class of 2026 in an Instagram post on Monday. The post featured On3's Top 10 from its 150 rankings, with five-star forward Tyran Stokes securing the No. 1 spot.

Five-star St. John Bosco forward Christian Collins sat in second place, followed by five-star combo guard Brandon McCoy at third and Grayson's Caleb Holt in fourth. Rounding out the first five was NBA veteran Trevor Ariza's son, Tajh Ariza, followed by four-star prospects Anthony Thompson, Mikka Muurinen, Jordan Smith, Dylan Mingo and Hugo Yimga, occupying sixth to 10th place, respectively.

As expected, fans had mixed reactions to the rankings and expressed their thoughts. Ariza and McCoy drew attention.

"McCoy & Ariza so cold!" one fan commented.

While some fans applauded the players, others were critical of the rankings, questioning the logic behind them.

"This don't even make sense," one fan wrote.
"4 5-stars don't make sense at all for any high school class," another argued.
"Stokes isn't better than four people below him, he's just size, and that's it," another fan pointed out, challenging the No. 1 player's ranking.

Some expressed disappointment over certain players being left out of the Top 10.

"Where is Quincy Wadley?" one fan questioned.
"No @jasoncrowejr is disrespectful," another commented. Jason Crowe of Inglewood High School in Lynwood, California, is ranked as the No. 6 prospect, and a five-star recruit, by ESPN.
"Arenas is top 3," another said.

Which college program has the highest chance of landing Tajh Ariza?

Five-star prospect Tajh Ariza has already attracted offers from top college programs in Arizona, Kansas and UCLA. The Westchester High School star has eight college offers on his table and has yet to declare his commitment to any.

According to On3, USC and UCLA have the highest chances of landing the player, with USC holding a 17.4% chance and UCLA close behind at 15.2%. Next in line is UNLV (13%).

Being a Class of 2026 prospect, Ariza has plenty of time to make his mark in high school basketball, and he's been spectacular so far. If he keeps up with his current level of performance, it wouldn't be surprising to see even more top college programs vying for his commitment.
