Four-star linebacker Jordan Campbell has been committed to Miami for over a year, but he is still gaining attention from other schools, including Michigan. Wolverines linebackers coach Brian Jean-Mary stopped by to check on him on Thursday.
"Thank You For Stopping by the House Coach @luc_brian Go Blue〽️💙," Campbell posted on X with a snap with Jean-Mary.
Campbell is still keeping his options open and visited Georgia on Saturday for its Junior Day.
"Thank You Coach Kirby For having me at Junior day today , GO DAWGS🐶," Campbell posted on X following the trip.
Campbell also traveled to Auburn on Friday for his second visit to the Plains, where he was impressed with the experience.
"It was everything that I would have thought it was. They definitely made a good impression," Campbell told On3.
Jordan Campbell is the No. 4 linebacker in the 2026 class and the No. 13 recruit in Florida, according to On3. His performance during his junior season in 2024 saw him tally 70 tackles, including 28 for loss, six sacks, 15 quarterback hurries and four pass defenses. It's no wonder why elite programs continue to pursue him, and his recruitment will be one to watch in this cycle.
Jordan Campbell updates his recruitment status with Miami
Despite interest from several programs, Jordan Campbell remains a firm commit to Miami as of now.
“I’ve got one more year left (in high school), and if I come to Miami, we’re going to win a national championship,” Campbell told Sun Sentinel earlier this month. “And that score is going to be zero, man, because I ain’t giving up no points.”
Campbell is also in discussions with other top South Florida recruits about joining him in Miami's 2026 class. Among his targets are the nation's No. 2 running back, Derrek Cooper, along with four-star wide receiver Calvin Russell, four-star cornerback J’Vari Flowers and four-star safety Darryl Bell III. Except for Bell, the other three are leaning toward the Hurricanes.
Miami has three committed players in the 2026 class, ranking No. 15 in the nation. Besides Campbell, the cycle features cornerback Camdin Portis and quarterback Dereon Coleman.
