Future Michigan quarterback Bryce Underwood couldn’t hide his amazement after witnessing NBA legend LeBron James pull off an incredible one-handed dunk. The Los Angeles Lakers superstar stunned fans with the spectacular effort, which showcased his unmatched athleticism despite being the oldest active player in the league.

Underwood shared the clip on his Instagram story, captioning it with a simple yet telling reaction:

The viral video, originally posted by Overtime, captured King James in peak form during the Lakers's game against the Dallas Mavericks on Tuesday. The Instagram page emphasized James’s age-defying athleticism, stating,

“HE STILL THE MOST ATHLETIC PERSON EVER W** 🤮” and “LEBRON IS 100 AND DOING THIS W**.”

Fans, including Bryce Underwood, were left speechless as LeBron James made the dunk look effortless, solidifying his place as one of basketball’s most electrifying players. James’s highlight came during the first quarter when he executed a thunderous left-handed windmill dunk over Mavericks rookie Derek Lively.

The jaw-dropping move has already been hailed as a potential Dunk of the Year candidate. Even at 39, LeBron James continues to inspire athletes across all sports, as his performance exemplifies skill, power, and longevity.

However, the LA Lakers struggled overall, falling to a shorthanded Mavericks squad 97-118. Despite Luka Dončić and Kyrie Irving being sidelined, Dallas secured the victory behind standout performances from Quentin Grimes and P.J. Washington, who scored 23 and 22 points, respectively.

Looking ahead, the Lakers will play their next five games at home, starting with the Charlotte Hornets and culminating with a clash against the Brooklyn Nets.

Bryce Underwood and Keene headline Michigan quarterback battle

Michigan’s quarterback competition will feature two intriguing options: incoming freshman phenom Bryce Underwood and graduate transfer Mikey Keene. Keene, a seasoned veteran with experience in 39 games over four years at UCF and Fresno State, brings a proven track record to the Wolverines.

"Mikey has been a great addition," Moore said. "Just the talks I've already had with him. He's excited to push Bryce, really excited to try and go challenge for that starting spot. It's not given, someone's going to have to go earn it."

Keene enters the battle with impressive career stats, including a 67.8 percent completion rate (793-of-1170) and a total of 65 touchdowns against 28 interceptions. His experience sets the stage for an intense competition with Underwood, Michigan’s highly touted freshman.

In the ReliaQuest Bowl, another freshman, running back Jordan Marshall, made his expectations clear to Underwood.

"I told Bryce (Underwood) right when we walked into the locker room, I was like, 'This isn't happening again,'" Marshall said. "We're not playing (in the ReliaQuest Bowl), we're playing for the chip. We're playing for the whole thing, the natty. That's what we want."

With Bryce Underwood’s potential and Mikey Keene’s experience, Michigan’s quarterback competition promises to be one of the most compelling stories of the offseason.
