Four-star defensive lineman Noah Clark continues to attract significant attention on the recruiting trail. The standout from Jordan High School in North Carolina received a renewed offer from Mike Norvell's Florida State on Wednesday.
Florida State defensive back coach Terrance Knighton personally delivered the scholarship offer. The prospect in the Class of 2026 shared the news on X, tagging Norvell, Kinghton and the Seminoles defensive line coach, Odell Haggins.
"Thank you @Coach_Knighton for stopping by and I am blessed to be re-offered by Florida State. @Coach_Norvell @odellhaggins @FSUFootball."
Just a few hours before South Carolina's offer, Clark announced receiving an offer from Ole Miss. This week, he also received a visit from former legendary NFL coach and current North Carolina coach Bill Belichick. This underscores Clark's significant standing in the recruitment world.
Clark's dominance on the field at Jordan this season earned him a spot on HighSchoolOT’s All-State First Team for Two-Way players on Wednesday. In his junior season, he recorded 75 tackles, 18.5 tackles for loss, four sacks, two forced fumbles and a blocked field goal.
Noah Clark is ranked as the No. 33 defensive lineman in the 2026 class, the No. 292 overall prospect in the nation and the No. 14 recruit in North Carolina, according to the On3 Industry Rankings.
Can Florida State secure Noah Clark's commitment?
Florida State re-offered Noah Clark, with defensive back coach Terrance Knighton personally stopping by his place. This indicates that the Seminoles are strongly pursuing him for their 2026 class. Although the school doesn’t have an edge in his recruitment yet, the momentum might change, especially due to the program’s success in securing top recruits for their 2026 class.
The Seminoles have already secured six committed players in this cycle, ranking No. 6 in the nation. The class is headlined by four-star quarterback Brady Smigiel, alongside three other four-star prospects.
Currently, South Carolina is leading in Clark's recruitment, with a 30.5% chance of securing his commitment, according to the On3 Recruiting Prediction Machine. Defensive backs coach Travian Robertson is spearheading the Gamecocks' efforts to secure Clark, who received his first offer from South Carolina on Oct. 12, 2023.
