Kiyan Anthony, the No. 35 recruit in the Class of 2025, followed in his father's footsteps after he committed to Syracuse on Nov. 15. The shooting guard continues to represent Long Island Lutheran High School in his senior year and returned to the court after a one-month injury last week.

Kiyan Anthony's mother La La Anthony shared an image of her son and teammates Kayden Mingo, Dylan Mingo, and MJ Madison on her Instagram story as the quartet posed in a picture originally posted by Hoophall Classic on Sunday:

Kiyan Anthony recorded six points, one assist, one steal, and a rebound in 23 minutes after his injury against Orangeville at the La Porte Invitational last week. Last year, he represented his father's team, Team Melo in the Nike EYBL and averaged 19.6 points, 1.5 assists, and 4.6 rebounds per game.

He showed his scoring prowess after scoring 28 points on 50% shooting against Pro Skills Elite on May 18. Furthermore, he also put up 42 points while shooting 53% including 44.4% from beyond the arc at the NBPA Top 100 camp.

He continued to display stellar numbers at the 2024 Hustle & Heart Classic game in New York, where he scored 25 points on 54% shooting and 57% from the three-point line. Kiyan Anthony ranks at the 11th spot in the shooting guard position and first in New York.

The 6-foot-5 guard had 22 offers from programs including UCF, Maryland, Massachusetts, Pittsburgh, West Virginia, Illinois, Rutgers and Syracuse, among others, according to On3. He took official visits to three colleges- Florida State on Oct. 13, Syracuse on Oct. 19 and USC on Sep. 26 before he chose Syracuse.

Kiyan Anthony discusses his training regimen

Kiyan Anthony made an appearance on the "The Program NYC" podcast on Dec. 26 as he talked about handling pressure and training. He also stated that he started to embrace the pressure:

"So just started to take it all in and try to use what I've been working on in the gym when it was just me and my dad or me and my trainer alone."
"Just tried to put it to work when all the eyes were on me, so I feel like that was really a main factor whether I played good or played bad, didn't really matter because I already know all the work I was putting in off the court."

Kiyan Anthony will be joined by Sadiq White, Luke Fennell, and Aaron Womack at Adrian Autry's Syracuse next season.
