The match went to overtime, where the Tigers outscored the Cardinal by eight points to grab the win. The star of the game was Mikaylah Williams, who scored a season-high 32 points while shooting 66%, including 55% from the three-point line. Furthermore, she made the game-tying shot with just 4.3 seconds left to send the game to OT. She also added to her terrific game with nine rebounds and one assist.

Flau'Jae Johnson added 21 points, three rebounds, six assists, and two steals while shooting 40% including 37.5% from beyond the arc. Another stellar performance came from Kailyn Gilbert, who scored 25 points on 75% shooting, including four assists, one rebound, and one steal in 34 minutes.

With this win, Mulkey's side extended their winning streak to 10. They will now face the Grambling Lady Tigers on December 9.

The Tigers have one of the best recruiting classes this season, as Mulkey as secured the No. 1-ranked class with top recruits for the second time in three seasons. Their first recruitment was four-star point guard Bella Hines from Eldorado (Albuquerque, NM) on April 2.

Divine Bourrage was their second commitment on September 12. Five-star shooting guard from Sacred Heart Academy (Shelbyville, KY) ZaKiyah Johnson became their third commitment on November 3. Their latest commitment came from Grace Knox, a five-star small forward from Etiwanda (Rancho Cucamonga, CA) on November 6.

Why did Divine Bourrage choose LSU?

Bourrage had offers from other top programs, including Illinois, Missouri, Florida, and Kentucky before she chose LSU. Divine Bourrage talked about her decision to choose LSU with On3:

“I like how Kim Mulkey is with her players,” Bourrage said after her visit. “She’s really loving with them, and I feel that’s what a player needs. Then I’m heavy on the family aspect, and I think that’s what stood out the most."
“It’s a dream come true. I’ve been a big Kim Mulkey fan for a long time, so when they hit me up and offered me, I almost cried about that. I’ve talked to coach Mulkey a lot over the phone, and she’s big on family, so it makes sense she’s like that with her players.”

With top recruits this season, how far do you think coach Mulkey' side will go?
