Four-star junior Latrell Allmond was outstanding at the John Wall Holiday, as he ended up winning the MVP award in the tournament's Coby White Bracket. On Tuesday, in an Instagram post, fans got to see a glimpse of the player's performance in the tournament and took to the comments section to express their thoughts on the four-star prospect.
Judging from his impressive skills and performance, a major part of the comments felt that the player deserves a five-star rating instead of the four he currently holds:
"Need that 5th star!" one fan said.
"Give em that 5th⭐," another fan wrote.
"5 ⭐ stop playing," said another.
Some other comments were, however, just filled with praise and encouragement for the player.
One fan even likened him to NBA veteran Kevin Garnett (KG):
"He got that KG spirit!!! I loved how he evolved from 7th grade🙂 💯" the fan wrote.

In total, Latrell Allmond led John Marshall High School through three games at the John Wall Holiday Classic tournament, which ran from December 27th to 30th. The 6-foot-8 power forward racked up a total of 48 points, averaging an impressive 16 points per game throughout the tournament.
Latrell Allmond made his presence felt from the very start of the tournament. He delivered an impressive 9 points, 10 rebounds, and two assists to power John Marshall High School to a dominant 70-44 win over Clayton High School in the first game.
His most impressive performance came in the second game, where he delivered an impressive 24 points and 14 rebounds to help the team to an 82-68 win against Southern Durham. He went on to close out the tournament on a high note, delivering 15 points and nine rebounds to secure a 53-37 win over Highland.
Unbeaten John Marshall High School aims to extend its 10-game winning streak against St. Anne's-Belfield
The Marshall Justices are currently unbeaten this season, having won all the ten games they've played. They successfully closed out 2024 with a victory against Highland High School. They'll definitely be hoping to extend their winning streak as they take on St. Anne's-Belfield on Sunday.
