Jonah Winston, a three-star prospect from the Class of 2026 and the brother of former Heisman Trophy winner Jameis Winston, has named his top four schools. They are Florida State, Auburn, UCF and Ole Miss, as per On3.
Among these, the Florida State Seminoles are the current leaders in the race to land the receiver. According to On3, the Seminoles have a 68.7% chance of acquiring the talented youngster, followed by Auburn (21.3%) and Alabama (1.7%).
FSU could be an interesting destination for Winston, and the receiver also spoke about the program.
"The one thing that makes FSU more unique than the other schools is I basically grew up at FSU," the three-star athlete said, as per On3. "That’s where the game really started for me."
Jameis Winston was a part of the Seminoles and led them to a BCS National Championship in 2013. He was also named the Heisman Trophy winner that same season.
Jonah Winston is ranked No.393 in the country and is the 57th-best wide receiver from the Class of 2026, as per On3. He is also the 15th-best overall prospect from the state of Alabama.

Hoover High School's three-star receiver Jonah Winston had a breakthrough season. He helped the Buccaneers go 10-3 while racking up 542 yards on 38 receptions and scoring three touchdowns.
He also had 152 yards on 21 carries and scored five touchdowns as a running back. Winston's performances helped him secure offers from top programs such as Auburn, Florida State, Texas A&M, Alabama, Mississippi State and Ole Miss. The three-star prospect still has one year left at the high school level and is poised to grab more offers.
Winston has recorded 877 total yards and 11 total touchdowns in his two seasons with the Hoover Buccaneers. He will look to end his high school career on a high next season and establish himself as one of the best wide receivers in the Class of 2026.
Jonah Winston comes from a sporting family. His brother, Jameis, plays in the NFL and was selected to the Pro Bowl in 2019.
