AJ Dybantsa, the class of 2025's No. 1 prospect, has announced he make his college choice Tuesday. The Utah Prep player took to his Instagram story to share a series of posts about his college commitment date. In his first story, Dybantsa reshared a post by First Take with Stephen A. Smith and ESPN's Director of Recruitment Paul Biancardi.
The 6-foot-9 small forward shared another collage, showing him wearing jerseys of his final four list of colleges: North Carolina, BYU, Alabama and Kansas.
Dybantsa decided to declare his final four picks through an Instagram story he uploaded Dec. 5 with a four-word caption.

Before this, he cut his list down to final seven programs on Aug. 2 that included the Alabama Crimson Tide, Auburn Tigers, Baylor Bears, BYU Cougars, Kansas Jayhawks, Kansas State Wildcats and North Carolina Tar Heels.
In the 2024-25 season, Dybantsa has played two games and is averaging a double-double with 14.0 points, 14.0 rebounds, 5.0 assists and 3.0 steals per game.
For his previous school St. Sebastian, Dybantsa averaged 19.1 ppg, 9.6 rpg, 2.9 apg, and 2.5 bpg. He led Team USA to gold medals in the FIBA Under-16 Americas Championship in Mexico and the FIBA U17 World Cup in Turkey. He averaged 13.7 ppg, 3.8 apg, and 3.7 rpg in Mexico and 14.1 points, 4.1 assists, and 3.9 rebounds with a 58.7% field goal in Turkey.
